Hi, I'm Kai Pisani, you might know me online as Kaiza.
I'm an Adelaide based Digital Media creator for my independent projects/events, and Video Editor for professional work.
I design, direct, and produce Esports Broadcasts for local and national level Australian gaming events, and create and manage video/graphic content for internet distribution.
This includes any original logo design, broadcast asset/scoreboard/overlay design, live A/V directing, social media collateral, and motion graphic animations that you see here.

Production History (Click underlined title to view work):EVAC (University of Adelaide Video Game Club), (2014 - Present):
Produced fortnightly Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. for 3DS/Wii U, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament broadcasts. EVAC hosts video game meetups at Union House, University of Adelaide, for students and non-students alike. They take place on Wednesdays & Fridays from 5pm every week. CouchWarriors South Australia members host tournaments from these club meetings.
Southern Cross Championships (SXC) - annual Fighting Game Major, (2014 - 2017):
South Australian Fighting Game Community's (SAFGC) annual Major Tournament hosted in Union House @ The University of Adelaide attracting interstate competition. Broadcasted Super Smash Bros. Melee & Super Smash Bros. for Wii U Tournaments. Created broadcast assets (Overlays & Scoreboard HTMLs) to be used on all games' tournament live streams. At SXC2K15, I created a short prelude trailer played before each game's tournament Top 8 finals to excite viewers, more commonly known as a "Top 8 Hype Video".
SAFGC Monthly Tournament Series, (2015 - 2018):
Monthly tournament series featuring a variety of different Fighting Game Community titles. Produced overlays & broadcasted for Super Smash Bros. Melee & Super Smash Bros. for Wii U Tournaments. Hosted at Arena Internet Cafe, University of Adelaide, and Cybergamer's Adelaide Studio.
The Producer's Series - Fresh 92.7 Documentary, (2015):
Working with Snapme Media/ThoseCreatives, video edited short documentary for local Adelaide radio station Fresh 92.7's "The Producer's Series" initiative in collaboration with the Music Development Office to offer a handful of musicians a chance to work with industry professionals in the creative process of making new music.
Keyfinder.me - Product Commercial, (2015):
Working with Snapme Media/ThoseCreatives, edited product commercial for local business, using videographer's footage shot on location based on our team member's storyboarding to effectively communicate a narrative.
The Pearl Night Club - Opening Night Promotional Video, (2015):
Working with Snapme Media/ThoseCreatives, edited a 30 second promotional video for local night club & bar, The Pearl, for their grand opening from footage shot on location with other members of the team and group of actors.
TFLIVE ozfortress Winter League 14, 15, & Summer Cup coverage, (2015 - 2016):
Produced overlays, scoreboard HTMLs, & broadcasts for TFLIVE, an Australian Team Fortress 2 casting group for matches hosted by online community leagues. Operated in-game observer/spectator feed while maintaining the broadcast to show relevant action taking place in the match.
Kenya High Commission visits Adelaide, (2016):
Working with Snapme Media/ThoseCreatives, edited a 30 second video and a 3 minute video documenting the Kenya High Commission's time in Adelaide from footage shot by other members of the team following their journey meeting local community figures at multiple on site locations.
Battle Arena Melbourne 9, (2017):
Created overlay designs for the Super Smash Bros. Melee broadcast produced by Melbourne Melee.
Battle Arena Melbourne 10, (2018):
Camera operator for Super Smash Bros. Melee broadcast produced by Melbourne Melee. Directed video feed for shots focusing on the players when their tournament matches aren’t in progress, visually setting the story of the two players’ competitive performance.
City of Playford Tennis International I & II (ATP Challenger Event), (2019):
Subcontracted for live broadcast production team, ALBS.TV, worked on the setup & pack down of cables, mounting and camera equipment. As part of the team I was relaying information to ATP officials regarding match status, keeping them updated on my operation of live streamed broadcasts as each match started and finished.
The Big Cheese, Big Cheese 2, The Cheese Platter, & Big Cheese 3 - annual grassroots community Major, (2018 - Present):
CouchWarriors South Australia's annual community ran grassroots gaming tournament highlighting Adelaide's local scene and attracting interstate competition. Produced and designed logos, merchandise, social media collateral, and on screen graphic overlays for all tournament broadcasts while also operating the Super Smash Bros. Melee broadcast on the day of the events. Hosted at Union House, University of Adelaide in 2018 - 2021, and at St. Clair Recreation Centre in 2023, promoted by myself and CouchWarriors South Australia.
The Cheese League - CouchWarriors South Australia Monthly Ladder for Smash & FGC (2019 - Present):
Produced & designed logos, scoreboard graphics, overlays, social media collateral, and operated broadcasts for our current local monthly Fighting Game, Super Smash Bros. Melee, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate community tournaments which I and CouchWarriors South Australia promote. Hosted at Union House, University of Adelaide.
